It’s nice to meet you.
There are lots of reasons we’re excited to be launching the Obama 2012 campaign’s new Tumblr today. But mostly it’s because we’re looking at this as an opportunity to create something that’s not just ours, but yours, too.
We’d like this Tumblr to be a huge…
Hope, Change, and Reblogs. Welcome POTUS!
PS. Isn’t it “whoa”?
Tōhoku Japanese Earthquake Sculpture by Luke Jerram.
About the piece:
This sculpture was made to contemplate the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami in Japan. To create the sculpture a seismogram of the earthquake, was rotated using computer aided design and then printed in 3 dimensions using rapid prototyping technology. The artwork measures 30cm x 20cm and represents 9 minutes of the earthquake.
You may remember Luke Jerram for placing pianos all over Grand Rapids during ArtPrize 2010.
OK people, please get ready for the world premiere of the explicit epic
length video/ short film for “Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win.”
Though no Yeti’s were harmed in the making of this video, please remember, that there are some scenes that are a rugged and raw depiction of a world that is at times violent, and even frightening.
That being said, please heat up the butter and the popcorn, sit back and enjoy. Directed by Spike Jonze and written by Adam Yauch, we hope you have fun.
Filler drawing that ended up not being filler
I liked this animation a lot and it bummed me out that it was only playing when you clicked through to the large comic, so I’m sharing it again as a single panel! BECAUSE I CAN, THAT’S WHY!
